The Heart Behind

Gunther Mosinger, Konditor Meister and owner, began his baking journey in Germany before perfecting his craft at Europe’s finest cafés and the Ritz-Carlton. For over 40 years, his passion and artistry have shaped Konditor Meister into Boston’s premier bakery, where he and his team of 76 artisans, craft cakes and pastries that New England loves.

Their cakes are unreal. The staff is always so friendly and helpful. I love this place so much. Edited way down the road: I just wanted to come and add that I still recommend this business especially after my most recent interaction. I got a cake from them and had a few issues with it. I emailed regarding it and someone got back to me within days. They were so helpful and kind. They righted the issue for me without even asking them to and even told me to ask for them next time so they can hook me up wirh my favorite thing they sell. Seriously, it’s hard to find a business who truly cares and they do.

I usually buy birthday cakes here because EVERYONE I host LOVE the cake so much (they literally get impatient and want to do the cake cut asap and wanting seconds). We get the tiramisu and it all goes in one night. My most favorite is their carrot cake. Literally so amazing! I had written a small review for the place before because all the other reviews speak for themselves BUT after this pass weekend, I had to update again. I was having my baby’s 1st birthday celebration and when it was time to pick up the cake at 8am that Saturday morning I had realized that I had the wrong date for the cake! I only realized because the cake couldn’t be found for that date and I went back to my email and saw I had ordered it for the following weekend by mistake!! I was freaking out!!! But Konditor and their crew saved the day! They put the cake together for me that very morning (as I had ordered it too)!!!!!! I can’t even explain how much that meant.
